YAJI

YAJI is a West African restaurant and bar brand in the United States. We built a platform that runs its website, launch sign-ups, hiring and email campaigns from one admin console, with online ordering ready for launch and room to grow across locations.

Client names and results are shared once each client approves public use.

The challenge

YAJI needed one place to build an audience before opening day, hire a full kitchen and bar team, and keep in touch with customers by email. It also needed online ordering ready for launch, set up so it could grow to more locations without a rebuild.

What we did

We designed and built a connected platform around YAJI’s launch and day-to-day operations. It combines a brand website, launch sign-ups, a hiring pipeline, email campaigns and pickup ordering, all managed from a private admin console with its own team roles.

What we built

  • Brand website. Home, menu, locations, story and contact pages built on YAJI’s colours, type and motifs, with live open and closed hours for each location.

  • Launch sign-ups. Visitors join the opening list from any page and get a branded welcome email with a one-click unsubscribe.

  • Careers & hiring. Open roles are posted from the admin console, and applicants apply with a resume. The team moves each person through review, interview and hire, adding notes, follow-up dates and email replies along the way.

  • Email campaigns. Staff write campaigns with a live preview, send them to everyone or to tagged groups, schedule them, and see delivery, open and click counts afterwards.

  • Online ordering. Customers browse the menu, choose options and add kitchen notes, then check out for pickup. The flow is built to connect to the restaurant’s payment and point-of-sale provider.

  • Staff & permissions. Staff sign in with a password-free email link. Admins invite teammates as full admins or read-only viewers.

  • Design system. A shared, browsable library of YAJI’s components, screens and motion patterns keeps every new page consistent with the brand.

  • Business email. Team email on YAJI’s own domain, set up alongside the new system so staff and customers see one consistent brand.
